1. Why is the
Master Groover better than other swing plane trainer?
This is a good question and marketing hype aside,
there are some sound logic behind the design of the Master
Groover Swing Training Aid that makes it better. Swing plane trainers can be divided into several
categories.
The first category are training aid device that are
unguided and usually focus on one of the key factors contributing to the
swing plane (such as the arms or wrist angle).
The second category are those training aids that go
through swing motions but rely on the golfer to establish the correct
positions in plane and shape.
The third category are those devices which actually
provide guidance to establish the golfer's swing plane. In this
category there are two types: Devices which define the swing plane
from the front using a single connection to a fixed point. The other
are devices that again use a single connection but establish the
swing plane from a position behind the golfer while having the club ride on
the guidance system.
The fourth category, is the Master Groover
which is unique swing training aid compared to all others. Below is an explanation of
how this is done.
The Master Groover Swing, unlike other
swing training devices defines the swing plane relative to the golfer's
spine angle and has three connections to the guide the golf swing in
establishing the swing shape and plane.
There are two connections to the golf club, one at the club head and the second
connection is near the grip. What these two connections accomplish
is: they help keep the golf club on plane and hold the hands/arms/shoulders on
plane. No single point connection training device can do both,
they only do one
or the other.
The third connection which is totally unique
in its connection convergence of the two cords to a free flow guidance track, not a single
fixed stationary point. The track has been precisely designed as a projection of the
physics and bio-mechanics of a perfect golf swing shape, while the cords
length determines the exact plane.
Placed in front of the golfer, allows
users of the Master Groover to view their swing movements in the
provided mirror while they swing. An important factor and additional
benefit of the Master Groover Swing Training Aid, is that the
lightweight
and thin minimal stretch/shrink factor of the special guidance cords not
only ensures the correct guidance, but also adds no noticeable weight or
wind resistance to the club, which would alter the
Feel of the swing
This cord format also ensures that the
right timing of maximum power is produced, at and through the ball
impact area and not before it as many do.
The purpose of the Master Groover is to
help golfers develop their feel of the total
golf swing, from address through to follow through, so that it
will be learned correctly and kept and never
be lost as their same correct golf swing can always again be
repeated, over and over when needed.
It provides an exact swing reminder of
each individuals swing for life!

2. Will
the Master Groover cut my handicap in half, make me a single digit or
scratch golfer?
The Master Groover Swing Training Aid will allow the
golfer to develop and maintain a solid repeatable golf swing. A
major factor of any golf score is the golfer's ability to solidly and
repeat-ability
strike the golf ball and to this end the Master Groover Swing Training
Aid will improve a golfer's score, significantly in cases where the
golfers has a high handicap because of the lack of ball striking
capabilities.

3. Will Master Groover let
me make a bad swing?
Yes, you can make a bad shot
with any training aid, BUT the golfer will be very aware of a poor or bad
swing. It can be set up wrong, the golfer can align up wrong, the golfer can
fight the Master Groover's guidance system, etc. From the poor ball flight, to Master Groover Swing Training
Aid feedback (the feel), the golfer will be able to pin point faults and causes in
the matter of a swing or two.

4. How does the Master Groover swing trainer accommodate
different golfers' physical size and capabilities?
The Master Groover Swing Trainer can be adjusted to accommodate
golfers height from 4' to 7'2".
If by a golfer's capabilities we are referring to athletic
capabilities, then the Master Groover will assist in a large part in
overcoming areas where the golfer lacks the ability to perform a task
often enough to build a repeated motion. By working out 30 minutes
a day with the Master Groover, golfers can improve their stamina, but
this is dependent upon the golfer's fitness level to begin with.
What the Master Groover Swing Trainer will give the golfer is a
sound repeatable golf swing, which will translate into lower
scores. The Master Groover can also be used in practicing unusual
golf shots (up hill, side hill, etc.) which will further enhance the
golfers shot making capabilities.

5. The Master Groover comes with a golf club, does
that mean I can't use my own golf clubs?
No, you can certainly use your own golf clubs and
without fear of damaging them, which is not always the case with other
swing trainers. A top quality golf club is provided with the trainer so
that the golfer can reduce any worry of club damage by first trying out the one
provided.
So instead of using your own clubs, it is recommended that
when first using the Master Groover Swing Training Aid, that you use the
club provided while getting used to the Swing Trainer. It is also
recommended that for the first few training sessions or till the swing
feels quite natural, to use the same club. After the golfer has
achieved the feel, the golfer can work through the entire club set,
remembering that an adjustment is necessary to the 'cord length' to compensate
for the clubs different shaft length so that the correct plane is
achieve for each club.
Working through the entire set, especially the long ball
clubs will be beneficial, as the golf swing feel of each club will also
quickly become quite natural.

6. I am beginner, I don't know anything about
golf, will the Master Groover work for me?
This is a hard question. First you are the
ideal candidate for the Master Groover. You created any bad habits
yet so your progress will be significantly quicker since you don't have
bad habits to overcome. That said, you will need to accompany the
Master Groover with some golf instruction, a good book, lessons, or a
video. This will give you the basics so you will understand what
the Master Groover is preparing your body to do. For example,
gripping the golf club is something that you know if you are doing wrong
cause the Master Groover will feedback related swing problems, however
the Master Groover can't tell you to re-position your left hand or right
hand. This is where some basic golf knowledge is needed. The
Master Groover is a Swing Training Aid that will allow you to develop
the correct feel for a repeatable golf swing.

7. Does the Master Groover force me to swing the
golf club only one way or method?
The Master Groover Swing Training Aid after being
properly set up will allow the golfer to develop the feel of the ideal
swing plane for that golfer. The swing plane is based on inside to
square to inside swing path. A golfer can establish an open
stance, closed stance or square stance position as an example of some of
the personal preferences the Master Groover Swing Training Aid
allows. The length of the back swing is not defined as the club
parallel to the ground. It is recognized that some golfers go
beyond parallel while other don't make it back to parallel.
For a repeatable swing, the answer is yes it guides the golfer on
that golfer's ideal swing plane but no to only one way or method.

8. Can the Master Groover be used indoors?
Yes. Securing the Master Groover can be done by either using the leg
stand or just use the upper Head assembly and secure its Brackets to a
board and secure that to the wall or post. Before attempting to the use the Master Groover
indoors, gently take a practice swing and ensure that there is sufficient
clearance both on the back swing and on the follow through. This is
ideal for a permanent practice set up and using it to Build your Swing
solidly and quickly. But ensure that there is sufficient clearance both
on the back swing and on the follow through. This is another good reason
to use the golf club furnished with the Master Groover rather than
taking the chance of damaging your own clubs.
The Master Groover Swing Training Aid comes with a practice mat and tee
and is quite definitely ideal for your off season winter practice
indoors

9. Does the Master
Groover work for left handed golfers?
Yes. The
Master Groover Swing Training Aid has been designed for almost all
golfers. Not only can a left handed golfer use it, but a short or
tall person can use it as well.
Please note when ordering the Master Groover Swing Trainer that
you are left handed. This way a left handed club can be provided.

10. Is there
somewhere I can go and try out a Master Groover?
Since the Master Groover
is relatively new in its introduction to North America, there are
limited locations to test the Master Groover Swing Training Aid.
For more information on where you can see a Master Groover, please use
the contact form to request the information. Include you address
with the email so that we can determine if there is a place you visit.
The Master Groover does come with a guarantee, as your
satisfaction is paramount to our business.

11. What type of support
and materials come with the Master Groover?
Your
Master Groover Kit Box, will contain: a Master Groover with all the
parts and instructions to 'Construct' and 'Set It Up,' to ensure you set
and use it correctly. Included
is a PowerBilt 5 iron, to introduce you to the Top Quality of PowerBilt
Golf Clubs, a Practice Mat with rubber Tee and a Swing Monitor Mirror so
you can clearly see your swing movements.
Pro Feel Golf offers email support in
addition to the instructions manuals. Most often one email will provide
the answer with detail instructions how to check and correct for
possible errors.

12. How
is the Master Groover set up or anchored to keep it from moving ?
Since
the Master Groover is portable, the set up is simple. Always ensure that the Middle or
Back Leg is FIRMLY STAKED and remains so by occasionally checking it.
The Master Groover can be conveniently and idealy mounted to a wall or
post for weather protection even indoors and gives the Master Groover a
solid base which is advantageous when learning. See photo
album for a wall mounted set up. The
Master Groover comes with a mat and rubber Tee that should be used so as
to prevent the digging of a divot hole in one area or used in indoors on
harden surfaces. Ideally the club should only clip the top of the Tee as
the ball will be on top of it so don't set the club on the ground behind
the Tee/ball, let the club at address hang with cords straight in the
position that it will hit the tee/Ball during the swing, when you are
addressing the Tee/Ball. It is better when learning the swing to not hit
the ground and you should not hit the ground before the ball except when
out of a sand trap.

13. If the Master
Groover is so revolutionary, why don't PGA instructors use it?
This is a good question. As with anything that
is new, PGA instructors are cautious in adopting it. Almost all of
the new training aids that PGA instructors use and recommend are from
fellow PGA instructors. It is not normally till after a training
aid has been around for a while and a PGA instructor works with it, that
it will gain popularity.
For example the weighted swing club has been around for about 50
years, in fact there have been several versions of the training club
over the years, but it wasn't till a certain name brand got high marks
from a Tour Pro did the weighted training club become standard in most
PGA instructors training bag.
We look forward over the next couple of years to work with PGA
instructors and roll this device into the PGA instructors training bag.

14. How
does the Master Groover accommodate different golf clubs and swings?
Once
you have learned the correct swing and are producing good shots with a 5
iron (recommended), practicing with other clubs requires only one
adjustment. The swing doesn't change for different clubs, only the
plane is different, and by Lengthening the cord for shorter shaft clubs
or shorting it for longer shaft clubs, the Master Groover easily accommodates
this adjustment.

15. Can
the Master Groover be used along with conventional golf instructions,
books, lessons, etc.?
Yes. The Master Groover purpose is to train the
golfer for the feel of a proper golf swing. This should not be
confused with a method. What traditional golf instruction lacks is
that words and pictures can not transfer the feel of the golf
swing. Today and in the past, golf instruction has always had
drills and training aids to supplement the words and pictures.
Some drills have included the golfer positioning the golf club in
various positions along the swing plane to attempt to get the
feeling. This static positioning is valid as a check point, but to
learn the feel, a dynamic exercise is needed. The Master Groover
provides this dynamic exercise, by guiding the club through all the correct
positions and provides immediate feedback whenever the golfer or
swinging golf club gets out of
position.

16. What
type of support for the Master Groover is provided, including
replacement parts?
For support contact us at: Email
Address.
Everything
is replaceable. You will find that given proper care it will last many
years, but please do NOT damage the Track!

17. What
type of warranty is provided with the Master Groover ?
Pro*Feel
guarantees that your Master Groover will do all it claims and is made of
top quality materials. It has been accepted by all golf authorities who
have tested it as being fail proof and adjustable to provide any golfer
the correct golf swing no matter what that golfers physical proportions
are. No one has ever complained that they were not satisfied with their
results. We are confident that you to will be completely
satisfied.

18. How
long do I have to practice with the Master Groover before I will be able
to feel a solid swing?
It will vary between golfers based on their current
swing but within the 1 hour of practicing with the Master Groover, the
golfer will begin to feel the swing and be comfortable with it. You should in the matter of hours start to recognize the
new feel of the correct swing. We recommend 30 hours, in no more than 1 hour
sessions over at least a 21 days. Studies show it takes 21 days of
repeated daily practice to form a new habit and break an old
habit.

19. Can
I still play golf while practicing with the Master Groover ?
We don't recommend it. As with any habit, it
take a minimum of 21 days to break and reform a new habit. Since
it takes around 30 hours of practice with the Master Groover to build
the feel of the correct swing, we recommend that you don't play golf
till you have formed the feel of your correct swing.. If you do
play golf you could possibly be re-enforcing old bad habits that will
require a longer time for the Master Groover to solidly build the feel of the correct
golf swing.
